About Shawn K. Everson, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC

PT: Dr. Everson has been a licensed physical therapist in Missouri since 1985.

DPT: Dr. Everson’s highest earned degree is a clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy, completed in 2007 through the University of Saint Augustine. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy degree from Saint Louis University (1985) and a Master of Health Science in Physical Therapy degree from Washington University in Saint Louis (2001).

OCS: Dr. Everson is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, first certified in 1998 and re-certified in 2008 and 2018.

MTC: Manual Therapy Certified; first certified in 1994 through the Institute of Graduate Health Sciences (University of Saint Augustine).

Dr. Everson has hundreds of additional hours of continuing education with highlights including extensive training in osteopathic manual medicine and exercise through Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, manual therapy and exercise through the Ola Grimsby Institute, and pain science education and application through the Neuro Orthopedic Institute.
